Our Story
Gather Over grew from our need for connection, dialog, and sense of community in an ever-changing and highly-charged world and a desire to support makers within our community. We’re creating a place where it’s okay to take up space. We learn from each other, share new experiences, and witness the world moving around us just by being open. We are based in Atlanta, Georgia and offer Southern hospitality at each event, along with a deep appreciation for great food, thoughtful art, and meaningful conversation.

Gather Over is more than a meal. It’s a movement fueled by a collective curiosity. At each gathering, we’ll forge intimate conversation and personal connections among thoughtful strangers and friends over unique food, art, and more. Think F. Scott Fitzgerald meets Pablo Picasso and Gertrude Stein on the Left Bank without the bravado, exclusivity, or dingy wallpaper. All that’s missing is you!
At each dinner, we bring together a diverse group to discuss varied points of view about a singular topic, where each person can exercise their voice and value the worth of others. Artists and makers contribute creative works, meals and inspiration that spark discussion, while the atmosphere and location of each event provides a comfortable setting to encourage deep conversation and connections.
